A thesis, made by hand.
For my final high-school exam I build, in HTML, a website for a thesis about the European Community: Sweden and Italy. I publish it on Angelfire at angelfire.com/pe/tesina.
Two computers. A whole world.
In the basement, on an enormous solid-wood table: my Windows middle-tower with a 21-inch CRT and a Linux server with a 15-inch CRT. Connected over a network. This is the workstation that inspired this website.
Passion becomes work.
I start working with OnLineFriuli in hardware and software support. The first professional chapter of my résumé. It was on this occasion that I met Giuliano, a friend and future business partner.
A municipality, already online.
I am commissioned to build and edit the website of the Municipality of Magnano in Riviera, near Udine. An early, concrete meeting point between the Internet and public service. I thank Mayor Mauro for the trust, and Pamela, a lifelong friend, for the visual design.
